As an internal and external consultant since 1982, Dorene has helped organizations and individuals to unleash the creativity that exists untapped in each of us to bring forth new confidence and possibilities for action.

Dorene’s experience includes executive-level roles in human resources and customer service, as a director and chair on non-profit boards, management consultant in human resources issues and organizational change, national seminar presenter, recruiter, career counselor, and executive coach.  Advanced education in psychology has given her an understanding of human behavior and the growing need in every human being for personal meaning and authenticity in our work.

Drawing on her unique combination of experience and education, Dorene uses expert skill in intuitive listening and asking insightful questions to unravel complex and multi-layered problems with clients, whether they are of an organizational or personal career level.  Over the years, those who have benefited by Dorene’s help have characterized her insights as piercing and uncanny and her results as extraordinary.

GRAYSON JAMES

image013 Grayson James consults to management teams and boards throughout the U.S., Latin America and in Europe in building collaboration and superior leadership skills. He coaches executives to identify leadership opportunities and helps them reveal new possibilities for future action. Other areas of special expertise are in helping organizations to improve their social and environmental sustainability and collaborative leadership performance.

Beyond Grayson’s experience in coaching and consulting to others, Grayson has been a chief executive for three non-profit organizations, including, most recently, Petaluma Bounty, a community-based organization committed to growing a sustainable food system with healthy food available to everyone. Founded by Grayson in 2006, Petaluma Bounty received regional and state attention as a model for other communities and was honored with the annual Leadership in Sustainability award from the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy.

Grayson co-founded REVORP, a victim-offender reconciliation program of Sonoma County’s alternative dispute resolution program, RECOURSE; and he has served as a court-appointed mediator and settlement referee in the resolution of civil litigations.

Grayson is certified as a personal and executive coach and as a professional coaching instructor through the Newfield Group in California. He is an instructor in the martial art of Aikido and holds a 4th degree black belt. Grayson lives in Petaluma with his wife, son, dog, chickens and several pet gophers.
